The bill which revises the previously passed deductible law (HB 2102 / 2019) was voted out of the Texas Senate and has moved on the House of Representatives during the 88th Legislative Session. This bill requires the insurance carrier to request the proof of deductible payment and prevents them from waiving it in favor of a preferred provider.
